2. Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to provide it, in particular through the Submit form:
- Identification data: first name, last name, date of birth, gender, city.
- Contact data: email, phone number, Instagram handle (optional).
- Professional data: height, bust, waist, hips, shoe size, hair colour, eye colour, notes.
- Photographs you upload (headshot, three-quarter, full length).
- Technical data automatically collected while browsing: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps (see the Cookie Policy).
3. Purposes and Legal Basis
- Evaluating your application for possible representation — legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Replying to your enquiries and operating the website — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Complying with legal obligations — legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Photographs and biometric measurements are processed solely to assess your suitability as a fashion talent. We do not use submitted data for profiling or automated decision making with legal effects.
4. Minors
If you are under 18, you may submit an application only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We may ask for documentation proving such consent before any further processing.
5. Data Sharing
Your data is accessed only by Matris Opus staff and by trusted service providers acting as data processors (hosting, database, email, analytics). With your explicit consent, a selection of your materials may be shared with partner agencies and clients for casting purposes. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Data Transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases we rely on the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.
7. Retention
Applications that do not lead to representation are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted, unless you ask us to erase them earlier. Data of represented talents is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the legal limitation periods that follow.
8. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to portability and to withdraw any consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). To exercise these rights use the contact details published on this website.
9. Security
We adopt technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls and segregation of duties.
